Overview General Medicine

General physicians are health professionals who operate on patients to repair injuries, correct deformities, prevent diseases, and generally improve the health of patients. Our objectives are to focus on evidence-based medicine and reach a sound diagnosis. We implement treatment plans and focus on the education of the patient on his or her health issues.

The division of general medicine at Rama Hospital includes physicians or internists whose primary role is to provide medical care in the hospital. It includes 24-hour care of inpatient and outpatient services. Our general medicine team’s goal is to combine the latest evidence-based medicine with thoughtful considerations of each patient’s need to foster wellness and healing.

  • Active involvement of faculty in providing emergency care

  • Includes diseases due to Industrial chemical exposure,drowning, electrical injuries, radiation injuries, snake bite, lizard bite, dogbite, insect or scorpion bite are treated in the department of internalmedicine.
